The one and only thing the union brings to the table in negotiations is the ability to call a strike.  They may try and convince you that strikes are a thing of the past and that they rarely occur.  However, last year alone there were 307 strikes across the country among all unions.  Some of them are still ongoing.  The Teamsters strike record alone indicates they are one of the unions that strike the most.  Since 2020, the Teamsters have called 102 strikes.  There are many potential negative consequences as a result of a strike.  They certainly could have a negative impact on the customers we serve.
