Did You Know?
Should the union win an election in Baltimore, if the parties cannot reach an agreement after good faith negotiations, the union may call a strike. We certainly hope we never have a strike, but if the union does call a strike, United Road has the legal right to continue operating its business in Baltimore by any lawful means. For example, United Road will have the right to hire replacement drivers, run loads out of other terminals, bring drivers in from other terminals, and/or utilize third-party companies. Our obligations to our customers do not stop because a union calls a strike.
